Colocation

Colocation, or "colo," is a model of cloud computing in which a value-added reseller (VAR) rents out space for an organization's servers and other hardware. Colos typically provide the cooling, power, bandwidth, and physical security of equipment. Customers maintain ownership of their equipment, but are simply no longer housing it.
