LAKELAND, Fla., June 22, 2016 -- DSM Technology Consultants, a Florida provider of comprehensive, enterprise-grade IT services for growing organizations, has hired John "JT" Tomljanovic to lead the growth and development of its cloud services business.
Tomljanovic joined DSM in early June with the title of senior vice president, solutions development and cloud. He comes to DSM from HPE, the enterprise business unit that split off from Hewlett-Packard. He served there as chief of staff, strategy, and operations.
"We're very pleased to have JT join us," said David Robinson, founder and chief executive officer of DSM. "His arrival brings top enterprise-level experience to DSM's current and future clients."
"JT will help guide and enable DSM clients of all sizes as they make their transition to the Cloud," Robinson said.
Tomljanovic is the most recent in a series of key new hires DSM has announced in the past 6 months. The goal of all the recent hires, Robinson said, is to achieve DSM's goal of making enterprise-caliber private cloud services affordable to mid-sized companies, educational institutions, and state government offices and agencies. "JT will help us scale and enable that growth."
"I'm looking forward to engaging with DSM's clients," Tomljanovic said. "This is an agile company with great resources. We're growing fast because we take excellent care of our clients, and we have the right vision for the future. It's exactly where I want to work. We have a great story to tell."
Tomljanovic has more than 25 years of experience with companies that range in size from startups to members of the Global 2000.
Before joining HPE, he was vice president of product management and cloud IT services at Terremark, a subsidiary of Verizon. He moved to that position from a director-level leadership position at Verizon.
Earlier in his career, Tomljanovic served as senior vice president of operations at Z-Tel Communications. Before that, he worked in engineering and customer-support leadership roles at Corvis Corporation, USinternetworking, Accenture and Westinghouse.
"We have built an energetic team with many talented, highly experienced employees," said DSM CEO Robinson. "JT brings broad experience in working with both very large companies and mid-sized, agile organizations. That benefits all our clients."
